Who we are looking for

AnGrasta Technologies is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect with expertise in AI and IoT solutions to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with our business objectives and technical requirements, with a focus on AI and IoT applications. Reporting to the IT Manager, the person in this role will work with the internal and external stake holders to develop computer vision solutions for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and implement cloud architectures on the Azure platform, leveraging services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Networking, and AI/ML services like Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure IoT Hub
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, security, data science, and IoT teams, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business requirements
  • Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity in Azure deployments, including AI and IoT solutions
  • Optimize Azure resource utilization and cost management through effective monitoring, auto-scaling, and right-sizing strategies for AI and IoT workloads
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and industry-specific regulations, with a focus on AI and IoT security best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, promoting best practices and staying up to date with the latest Azure technologies and services related to AI and IoT
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Azure deployments, including AI and IoT applications
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions, including AI and IoT architectures
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Networking, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure IoT Hub
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes for AI and IoT applications
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and industry-specific compliance regulations, with a focus on AI and IoT security
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, such as high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability, specifically for AI and IoT solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, including data science and IoT teams
